BE Experience: 5-7 years
Technical & Professional Competencies: Understanding of the customers requirement, Information Analysis of existing data, good Teradata skills, indepth understanding of ETL design and architecture, and specific domain expertise High self drive and confidence Willingness to learn and work in teams Good problem solving skills and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills including successful management of people and budgets. Willingness to learn and work in teams
1) Should have thorough knowledge on DB architec ture
2) Knowledge of creating database and conducting physical database design
3) Knowledge and experience on space management and system hierarchy
4) Can handle security, roles, profiles, ac cess rights
5) Can decide on vital table creation parameters like UPI, PK etc etc, and INDEXES
6) Knowledge about Stored Procedures. Experienced in development of Teradata procedures and can deb ug complex procedure code.
7) Analyze and build SQL query and have knowledge of performance tuning
8) Well conversant with features and limitation of Teradata SQL
9) Knowledge and experience of utilities like Multi Load, Fast Load, FastExport, BTEQ, Teradata Pump Utility
10) Experienced in Unix Scripting
11) Can work with junior resources drive the development activities
