Pixtel Media Technology (PMT) is the R & D center of MediaTek and is located at the state-of-art facility at Logix Park in Sector 16, Noida. PMT is currently working on MMI solutions for mobile phones. PMT is the first company in India to work on man-machine interface solutions for mobile phones. PMT Integrated MMI Platform is based on an elegant open and extensible architecture. This architecture enables easy integration of the new applications into the MMI. The applications are written in embedded C language with an emphasis on reusability of code used in the building blocks. It gives a framework that allows integration with any communication protocol stack and any RTOS or any hardware. In PMT user-interface design and development solutions are in embedded C, C++ and VC++ on RTOS.
