Job Description
Position: Systems' Programmer
A bright engineer with strong systems' programming background.
Competence/ experience:
- Very good at Linux internals
- Experience in kernel programming is a strong plus
- Strong competence in algorithms, data structures
- Has worked on pthreads, system calls, etc. (good exposure in a Threading
environment)
- Exposure to program retracing is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile for system programming
- 3-4 years of programming experience in Linux & C/ C++
- Capable of being an individual contributor & over time, able to take
ownership of a module/ feature
- B.E./ B.Tech./ M. Sc./ M.C.A. or above from a good school with at least
75+% score
For System Testing
Primary criteria: Bright, enthusiastic, and persevering system test
engineer.
Skills & experience:
Hard-core system-side testing experience (eg: system software testing
/embedded application testing in networking or related domain / kernel
level testing)
Excellent debugging skills (manual debugging skills and not that of using
some tool for debugging)
OS worked on: Linux/ Unix
Scripting skills
Profile:
Proven herself/ himself as an individual contributor
2+ years experience in the testing domain of which some prior experience
preferably in system software development
Good academic record
