Qualifications & Requirements
As our full time source code repository administrator responsible for nightly compilation of multiple code trunks, you will have demonstrable and reference-able work and professional references. Experience will be required, as well as extremely strong communications (written and verbal), project management and diplomatic skills.
You will have proven experience of the technologies currently utilized in our environment, including Visual Studio & Source Safe, Subversion, .Net (C#, C++), Install Shield and Visual Basic. You are eager and willing to learn the new technologies as they get introduced.
• Strong software process discipline with knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) or similar quality management processes.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer/Application Designer or Programmer with demonstrated experience of relational databases.
• At least five (5) years of experience developing in and/or managing Microsoft Windows-oriented development and build environments.
• Strong familiarity with Windows .NET build tool chain (Nunit, Ncover, FxCop, etc)
• They will have experience with build systems that interact with a non-trivial automated testing environment as part of ‘conditional merging’ schemes.
• Willingness and aptitude to investigate and experiment with “Next Gen" build technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science.

Nothing is more important than a clean and consistent build. Without it, code integration cannot happen, QA cannot test, and software cannot be delivered into the hands of eager customers. Every SW team needs a go-to person to maintain and tune the build system,source code management, test infrastructure, and related software distribution tools and scripts. Can you be that person?

You ensure builds run fast and clean and failed builds are a result of developer code, not finicky builds or intermittent tests.
