• Proven experiences within IT, with a supporting degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in developing and delivering business computing solutions, preferably in financial institutions
• Strong experiences in enterprise application architecture design and development in OO.
• Strong experiences in development with JSF, Spring and Hibernate, AJAX, .Net is a MUST
• Experiences in image processing using Filenet and application development in PowerBuilder is an advantage
• Proven experiences of involving complete system development life cycle; experiences with Agile methodology using JIRA is an advantage
• Proven experiences of involving complete system development life cycle.
• Flexibility in work with International colleagues across various time zones
• Self initiated, able to work independently and a good team player
• Strong sense of responsibility for achieving objectives and accountability for results
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences
• Excellent command of written and spoken of English
Job Description
• Remediate existing PowerBuilder client server applications to J2EE platform using JSF, Spring and Hibernate.
• Participate in new initiatives, identify requirements from business, analyze, design and develop applications (in J2EE / .Net) to meet their goals and objectives.
• Participate in code review and QA process to ensure applications align with bank’s quality and technology standard.
• Prepare project documentations as per bank’s software development process guidelines.
• Establish strong relationships with business and other technical stakeholders to discuss systems issues and changes.
• Handle users queries from different Asia branches and work with application support team to provide 1st tier application support.
