Informatica Developer
• Should have minimum 3 + Years of development hands-on Experience
• Must have extensive knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter 8x and above.
• Must have extensive knowledge in Data warehouse designing techniques like Star Schema/Snowflake.
• Excellent working knowledge of Informatica integration with DB2, Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience in ETL code deployment, migration and governance of standards
• Support change control and testing processes for modifications to data transformation/transfer systems
• Participate in gathering business requirements, analysis of source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design suitable data model, and develop metadata for the Data Warehouse/Analytical Reporting.
• Prepare Technical Design / Specifications, and develop routines for data extraction and loading.
• Demonstrate quality and productivity by efficient development techniques, standards and guidelines.
• Analyze and determine the impact of technology capabilities and limitations, translate high level design to detailed design specifications, develop, test and deploy code/application in various environments.
• Perform effort estimation for various Data Warehouse activities; meet project deliverables as per requirements, on time within budgets.
Other Technical Skills
• Capability of performance tuning of SQL queries would be an added advantage
• UNIX , Linux shell scripting experience
• Experience interpreting and understanding multidimensional and normalized data models
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Project Skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to operate independently
