RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a lead developer, the candidate will work with the global core Technology Team and other technology teams, to deliver scalable, extensible and reliable software solutions using Informatica.The data warehouse environment that is under development is approximately 5TB in size with a user base in the 1000s. The candidate will be responsible for delivering ETL solution in support of this platform.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Expert in Informatica development (5+ years), performance tuning & best practices; Understand reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
• Demonstrated competence with Informatica installation and administration, including:
- v8.1.1 or higher
- Grid
- target partitioning
- repository maintenance
- user administration
• Strong database development skills; ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Access plan evaluation. Ideally DB2 UDB.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Data Mart design.
• Must have experience in a *nix environment.
• Candidate should be a team-oriented, self-motivated individual with good communication skills and positive attitude.
