Project Manager - .NET - Fidelity Information Services
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and managing multiple concurrent projects in different technology/functional streams
• Responsible to plan and manage application development, testing and software delivery activities for an assigned application portfolio.
• Manages the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of software applications.
• Develops and executes project plans outlining project scope, activities, schedules, deadlines and cost/time estimates.
• Manages an team of personnel assigned. This includes career planning, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and performance management.
• Meets the timeline, quality and scope requirements of application development projects.
• Ensures the proper application of technology, and provides technical and product leadership and guidance to the project team
• Ensures applications meet appropriate quality standards
• Adheres to the application development and client delivery process standards; Sets up processes wherever required and makes process improvements.
• Assigns project team members to various project activities.
• Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress proactively to ensure project goals are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
• Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client organizations as needed to meet project goals.

Desired Profile Required

• Ability to provide technical leadership to the technical team, specifically in the areas of architecture and design, functional analysis, and technology best practices
• Demonstrated skill in managing effort and timelines of medium to large projects
• Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills
• Ability to translate project scope into a project plan and to identify dependencies, resource requirements, and deliverables
• Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure
• Ability to deal with internal and external clients with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients
• Ability to understand the clients’ needs, establish credibility and build effective relationships with client contacts
• Ability to maintain positive working relationship with client
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and problem areas
• Ability to delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate
• Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively
• Ability to operate independently
• Ability to exhibit solid decision-making and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Skill in facilitating risk/issue tracking meetings
• Skill in managing change to project scope
• Ability to maintain and coordinate productivity and to effectively
manage workloads.
• Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members

Desired

Knowledge of Credit Card applications and technology is hghly plus.
