Senior R&D Engineer
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing various projects in VCS Simulation and Verification platform. These projects will involve implementing new language features, innovating and implementing performance improvement ideas, compiler related optimizations and providing technical solutions (on an ongoing basis) to any issues faced by customers. The candidate will be utilizing his/her background/skills in compiler technology, logic simulation, Hardware Description & Verification Languages (HDL & HVL), Data Structures, Algorithms and C/C++ in proposing the most efficient solution for the problem at hand.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must have BS in CS/EE with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS with 3+ years of experience in programming software in C/C++ for development of complex software projects, and a strong background in data structures and algorithms. It is essential that the individual has strong desires to learn and explore new technologies and are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills. Prior knowledge and experience of EDA tool development are strong plus.
