Job Description
We need 2 consultants with exceptional SQL and PL/SQL skills and indepth experience of working on very large data warehouses for our financial service client. The environment is fast-paced and includes state-of-the-art functionality requiring a quick mind to understand and implement new concepts in a dynamic workplace.
Essential Skills
. Experience in PL/SQL development on large data warehouse > 1TB
· Experience of working with ETL from highly transactional OLTP systems
· Expert in set based SQL and procedural PL/SQL
· Experience of Oracle 10g and 11
· Experience of database performance analysis and design
· Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines
· Good communication skills
Desirable Skills
. Experience within high volume transaction and/or financial services industries.
· Some DBA experience around performance tuning and application tuning
. Experience with customer centric industries and mission critical quality software standards
· Educated to degree level in a science or technology related field
