Experience:
•A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in software development for financial industry
•Strong technical skills in VB.NET and ASP.NET
•Strong Database (SQL) Development Skills
•Full Life Cycle business application development experience with strong architecture, design, and development
Other Skills:
•Service-minded, willing to help out wherever help is needed
•Great problem solving and communication skills
•Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure and tight deadline
•Ability to respond to complicated and unclear production issues
•Self driven and able to work independently
Job Description
Location : Doha (Qatar)
Candidates from Finance Domain will be preferred
Role & Responsibilities:
Development:
•Develop business applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server and other technologies.
•Develop custom utilities based on business requirements
•Develop reports using Crystal reports, BRIO and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
•Develop intranet using SharePoint Technologies
•Develop electronic workflows using Windows Workflow Foundation Classes and SharePoint
•Perform detailed QC on all internal applications
•Document technical details of applications/utilities
Application Support:
•Support in-house built applications and utilities
•Support reporting needs to various business units
•Support third party applications like APX, Moxy etc.
