Job Description
-We are looking for Candidates having 3-5 years of solid OO software development experience with at least 1+ year hands on Microsoft .NET (C#) experience.
- C++ or Java background preferred.
- Knowledgeable on UML
- Strong XML, XSLT, DTD/XML Schema experience. Knowledgeable in HTML.
- Very strong understanding of Database design and best practices using Microsoft SQL Server 2000
- Some experience on ASP (VBScript/Jscript)/ASP.NET, IIS based web application development
- Knowledge of component based/distributed application environments (preferably COM+).
- Practical knowledge of Windows 2000 Server and a clear understanding of the .Net architecture.
- Ability to create Use Cases, Requirements Specifications, Architecture Specifications and obtain agreement with key stakeholders
The major responsibilities are:-
- Architect, design and implement component based distributed systems based on Microsoft .NET (C#) environment
- Performance tuning & troubleshooting of software code
- Analyze and understand customer requirements and software design objectives. Develop functional specifications.
- Provide technical guidance to other members of the development team
- Perform Code Reviews
- Perform Unit Testing using NUnit or any other framework. Plan & conduct performance testing.
- Document software components
- Build and maintain release scripts and procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
Ability to handle complex application features, Expertise in ASP.NET with C#.NET, Strong understanding of OOP/OOA/OOD, Conduct reviews, analysis, and modification of programming systems according to program specifications,
- Expert in ASP.NET (VB.NET, C#), MS-SQL
- Good with XML/Web Services, Ajax
- Excellent understanding of .NET classes and OOP in general
- Experience in working with N-tier
