Job Description
• Responsible for maintaining both the database and the underlying technology stack components used to access and manage the contents of the database.
• All of the DBA skills listed above under Infrastructure DBA.
• Additionally skilled and knowledgeable in support of the e-Bus. R12 technology stack components, including:-
• Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0 (Tools / Java)
• Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.0 (Web / Apache)
• eBusiness Suite Apps R12 Architecture (APPL, INST, & COMN TOPs)
• eBusiness Suite Interfaces (HTML / Professional Forms)
• eBusiness Suite Workflow
• eBusiness Suite System Administration
• Oracle Applications Manager (OAM)
• eBusiness Suite Technology Administration tools and concepts:-
• Rapidwiz
• RapidClone
• AutoConfig
• Adadmin
• Adpatch
• Adctrl
• Will have worked and be familiar with at least one of the major eBusiness Suite product groups, for example:-
• Financials
• Supply Chain
• Human Resources
• Projects
• Customer Relationship Management
• Typical duties for eBusiness Suite, over and above database duties, would include:-
• Installation of the software stack
• Configuration
• Enterprise integration
• Patching
• Upgrades
• Backup and recovery
• Performance tuning
• New features
• Compliance
• Standards
• Security
• Deploying customisations, developed by the Functional Expert or Development DBA, into the technology stack.
• Cloning and refreshing both the database and the R12 technology stack (e.g. to Dev, Test, etc.).
• Liaising with the other eBusiness Suite project and support roles including:-
• Project and Programme Management
• System Administrators
• Functional Experts
• Development DBAs
• Key / Super Users
• Reports Writers / Integrators
• Batch Support (Feeds In / Feeds Out)
• Main Business Stakeholders / System Owners
• May additionally have skills or experience with any of the following products, concepts, or components:-
• OA Framework
• Oracle Identity Management (Single Sign On, Internet Directory)
• Reporting (OBIEE, Business Objects, Discoverer, Seibel Analytics, etc.)
• Oracle Warehouse Builder
• Oracle Workflow

Desired Candidate Profile
4+ years of experience in Database Administration & Oracle Applications Administration (APPS DBA) on 11i/R12 E-Business Suite with highly ceritifed on Database.
