Senior Developer
Job Description
This position will be responsible for application programming activities relating to software design, development and support. To fulfill this role, the programmer/analyst will:
Responsibilities
• Provide software application development support
• Participate in high and low level design activities
• Write and perform unit testing
• Adhere to industry and company coding standards
• Interact with the user community on system and requirement issues
• Work with limited supervision while providing constant feedback on project status and deadlines
• Function as part of a highly collaborative team
• Provide Tier 3 development support for existing applications
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work well in a team environment demonstrating proven leadership skills. Candidate must have the ability to deliver a top quality product in a timely fashion while leading teams of varied backgrounds.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in application programming
• Experience in C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Client-Side JavaScript, and HTML
• Experience with XML and Web Services preferred
• Experience developing multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications
• Demonstrated analytic and design capabilities
• Working knowledge of database design
• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server a plus
• Good communication skills
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines
• Highly effective communicator via email & telephone
• Experience working in a multinational development team
Education:
BS CS, BS CE or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering related discipline. (Advanced degree a plus)
