z/VM Systems Programmer
Job Description
* Perform system performance monitoring & tuning, systems configuration.
* Plan, install, and maintain systems software to ensure an efficient data processing.
* Interface with outside vendors to co-ordinate software problem resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
In depth knowledge of z/VM operating system and system utilities. Experience in supporting SUSE or Redhat Linux running under zSeries. Ability to install and customize IBM and 3rd party software. Good analytical and problem determination skills.
