Senior Software Programmer
Job Description
Software development efforts associated with complex embedded software application related to communication devices.
Individual must have the ability to develop software requirements, software test requirements and establish a software design approach based on those requirements aligned with the defined coding standards which will be utilized to develop & unit test the software application.
The selected candidate must have a background in embedded software development and troubleshooting, and will be involved in various aspects of the S/W development process (concept, design, validation and production).
The selected candidate will interact frequently with project management both locally and in the U.S.
Desired Candidate Profile
A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on embedded software development experience required.
Sufficient understanding of the entire software development process and associated standards /templates.
Strong communication skills - both oral and written.
Strong & diverse technical skills, including an ability to use H/W scope probes, in-Circuit-Emulators, Simulators or Debuggers to facilitate trouble shooting techniques.
Competence in C/C++, Assembly language.
Knowledge of Microcontroller /Microprocessor architectures & working.
Basic knowledge of Real Time Operating System (RTOS). Knowledge of communication standards like RS232, RS 422, CAN etc. is desired.
