REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Minimum 3-6 years of Java/J2EE experience
• Computer science degree
• Expertise with J2EE architecture, design patterns, J2EE/Java best practices, J2EE specifications
• Expertise with Java 1.6/J2EE technologies: Java, JMS, JDBC, Mail API, JCA, XML/XSLT, software development.
• Expertise with Web Services; WS, XML, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP
• Expertise with Apache ActiveMQ, Apache CXF, JOSSO, CAS
• Expertise with iBatis, Hibernate, MySQL 5.X, Oracle 10g
• Expertise with application servers: Apache 2.2, Tomcat 5.x, JBoss 4.3
• Expertise with frameworks: MVC and Struts
• Must have expertise in modeling and designing Java/J2EE based solutions including SOA based solutions, Web Services
• Must have expertise in conducting requirements analysis and documenting software requirements specifications, designs and architecture using UML
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the position requires a team player who is willing and able to work with and support business users
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
• Sun Certified Web Component developer (SCWCD) or Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD)
• Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services (SCDJWS)

Desired Candidate ProfileResponsibilities will be to act as developer for web and SOA applications. Responsibilities include all of the following:
• Will be responsible for documenting the user and system requirements
• Document business and technical requirements, designs and architecture using UML diagramming tools
• Develop development task lists
• Conduct code reviews, develop code templates
• Maintenance and enhancements to Java/J2EE and SOA WebServces applications
• Maintenance and enhancement management; Logging, prioritization, and facilitation, Issue resolution, escalation and communication
• Root cause analysis and action plan for issue resolution
• Workaround implementation, solution implementation, and documentation
• Requirements, estimation, enhancements, QA, production support
