Perl/MySql Database Programmer in Linux environment.
Growing company in Los Angeles, CA is looking for Data Base programmers in "Perl" and Unix platform for web-based database application. You will be responsible for designing and developing modules for various database related applications in Perl/MySql environment.
Responsibilities include developing and designing web-based applications that are hosted on Linux server. A Minimum of 5-7 years of Experience in perl programming in LINUX environment and MYSQL data-base development is NECESSARY. Additional duties involve new development, coding, debugging, documentation and setting up and maintaining client data-bases. AJAX and system admin skills are a plus.
Ideal candidate is smart, self-starter, quick-learner with a great team attitude and strong communication skills.
Candidate must be able to work individually and as part of a small team. Compensation is commensurate to experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a motivated, developer who has experience building scalable web application in Perl, Javascript, and MySQL, and has a familiarity with developing in Unix/Linux environments
