Developer - MS SQL Server
Job Description
•Seeking a strong Senior MS SQL Server developer who understands business needs and have solid experience with Performance tuning and Development.
•The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience of SQL Server database development, performance tuning and troubleshooting using T-SQL.
•Candidate should be able to quickly learn existing system, troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.
•Initial primary responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and performance tuning for Realist and ValueMap databases.
•This person also will be responsible for reviewing existing procedures and suggesting new architectural/coding changes needed for better solutions and superior performance.
•This person will work closely with Realist and Value Map scrum teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements and implement them.
•A future role for this person will include leading a team of SQL Developers that will be supporting different SQL Server databases, creating road map and providing suggestions/solutions for SQL Server development to management.
Mandatory Skills / Requirement
•Solid experience in T-SQL/Stored Procedure creation, modifying and debugging using SQL Server 2000 and above version
•Very strong experience in tuning queries and stored procedures
•Experience using SQL Profiler and Windows Performance Manager for troubleshooting
•Ability to create technical implementation documentation from business requirements and implementing them.
•Very good working knowledge of MS SQL Server Query Engine, Execution Plan, Indexing and other performance tuning techniques
•Proven ability to work in global environments and to collaborate affectivity with counterparts in remote offices.
•Resourceful, creative, responsible, flexible, able to work unsupervised and dedicated to quality of work.

•Postgress/Oracle Development Experience.
