Job Description
AM/Manager Software Development and Automation
1. In-house Software development and feature enhancements in existing software’s: Development of in-house software development life cycle based on business requirements, which includes – requirement gathering, design, implementation, deployment, documentation and maintenance (like bug fixes and feature enhancements).
2. Nexgen and Axia Support to all 45 stations - including license upgradations, support escalations and resolutions, and end-user training. (Will be get trained on the subject)
3. Wideorbit support to stations and coordination with vendor for bug fixes, new releases, and customizations. (Will be get trained on the subject)
4. Business consulting for verticals to evaluate and choose suitable technologies and solutions like RDS integration, remote studio operations, live OB studios, BIG Street Billing, On-Air Integrations, NTR Logistics project management and Music Database software’s
Primary:
Work with the user on development of the software specification. Ability to independently create and document a conceptual and detailed design and write a code based on a conceptual description of the business logic.
1) MS Visual Basic 6 – in-depth knowledge and experience in programming
2) MS .NET – in-depth knowledge and experience in converting programs from MS Visual Basic 6 to .NET
3) MS Access, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, MySQL 4.0/5.0 (SQL, Stored Procedures, SQL DB tuning)
4) ActiveX Controls
5) MS Office 2003/2007
6) MS Windows 2003, MS Windows 2000, XP, Vista
7) Support for Developed or implemented software’s and systems at multi-location implementation.
8) Sound Written English Skills for Documentation
9) Strong oral English communication skill.
Secondary:
1) Web Design(HTML/DHTML/CSS/Java Scripts)
2) ASP.net
3) Php 4.0/5.0
4) Apache Webserver / IIS Web applications.
5) Linux/Unix
6) Develop and manage a team of junior programmers, going forward.
Experience:-
Minimum 3-4 years of Software development and implementation (Real Life Live Projects) experience in Real Life projects For Asst.Manager/ 1-2Years Experience for Jr.Development Engineer/ below 1 year Experience for MT.
Education:-
Degree in computer Science or Similar, with MBA in Systems will be preferred.
