Job Description
As a key contributor in System Software Development responsible for developing device drivers, ASIC drivers and maintenance of Linux based embedded switch software.
Responsible for working with other developers in the area of ASIC software development for networking and storage products.
Hands on experience in Linux kernel & device drivers.
Specific experience with Fibre Channel FCP, SCSI protocols, TCP/IP, and Fibre Channel protocol, storage applications, or networking protocols would is desirable but optional.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have BS or MS and Min 3 years Software implementation experience and working in one or more of the following areas:
++In-depth knowledge in optimizing Linux for embedded platforms.
++Experience with both embedded RTOS(s) and real-time Linux.
++Worked in kernel space and be very familiar with the Linux Open source issues.
++Worked with embedded software components such as boot loaders, board support packages, device drivers and kernel modules.
++Strong experience in low-level system software concepts including interrupt handling, multi-tasking, and multi-processor systems.
++Experience working in ASIC drivers.
++Conversant with embedded software development tools, debuggers, ICE, JTAG debuggers, protocol analyzers and traffic generators.
