Relational database programming (SQL, schema design, concurrency, transactions)
IDE: Visual C++, Sun Workshop on Solaris
Object oriented programming
OS: Microsoft Windows platform (XP/2000 etc). Exposure to Unix (Solaris).
Client Server programming
Multi-threading
DESIRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with NMS e.g. Openview
Exposure to network security systems/protocols (VPN, Firewall, Intrusion Detection, Anti-virus, URL filtering etc)
Exposure to network management protocols e.g. SNMP
Exposure to Oracle database and OCI programming
