System Analyst
Job Description
· Analyze business requirements written by business analysts and develop functional specifications.
· Perform data analysis and validate the developed code to ensure fulfillment of functionality.
· Develop test plans and participate in testing after the completion of development.
· Provide project plans and status reports.
· Be an excellent team player.
Business Skills:
· Good understanding of the Securities industry, financial instruments (stocks, bonds, and derivative instruments).
· Experience in requirement analysis and working with technology teams.
· Strong understanding of typical SDLC processes and artifacts.
Communication Skills:
· Excellent oral and written skills are required.
· Candidate should be able to effectively communicate about projects; document requirements, functional specifications and test plans.
· Discuss technical proposals with development managers.
Project Management Skills:
· Conceptual understanding of project life cycles, project planning and estimation.
· Experience in IT Governance processes.
