We have openings with our MNC client for DB2 DBA
Job Location: Bangalore, Chennai
· Monitoring the health of DB2 servers for availability / performance
· Perform L1 & L2 support
· Patch management and fixpak upgrade
· Perform DB2 DBA related activities like backup and recovery of data ,creation of tables, tablespaces, users etc
· Perform HADR, DPF, UDB configurations
· Perform DB2 performance tunings
· Create & manage DB2 cluster
· Perform data export / import
Experience: Total -4 years in IT
Relevant - 3 yrs
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Masters(16 years)

Desired Candidate Profile
Understanding of DB2 Architecture
· Knowledge on SQL
· Knowledge about basic DB2 tools like control centre, Activity Monitor, Health Centre
· Knowledge on configuration of DB2 clients with DB2 servers
· Backup and recovery of Database
· Should be able to do a basic troubleshooting. Should have understanding on DB2 error logs and error codes
