Job Description Business Systems Development:
Design and develop new functionality to existing Oracle 11i
applications (reports, workflow, automation scripts) using standard
Oracle toolset
Development to provide automation in order to improve
quality/speed of data capture on Oracle 11i application
Review and improvements to existing user processes
Metalink KB research/problem resolution
Development on other related business systems which include
non-Oracle application to support Business Systems roadmap
System Admin (Oracle Apps 11i)
User Admin (new starters, leavers and change of role)
Monitoring concurrent processes
Systems configuration
Backup monitoring/archive logs maintenance
Basic/intermediate level of DBA support
Role Description:
Incident management/resolution based on queries and issues
logged
Liasing with line manager no projects/tasks/escalations
/clarifications etc
Design and delivery of adhoc reports as required
Knowledge management to capture key systems info. and promote
knowledge reuse and retention
Documentation at all levels (designs, specifications, user guides etc)
Change management process on any system alterations
