Job Description
Responsibility for defined development and maintenance packages.
Responsibility for deployment of software update package from the software Vendor .
Liaise with PM, Application Lead , Developer and key business contacts to ensure adequate project testing.
Liaise with DBAs and Architects to ensure standard compliant development
Desired Profile
@ 6 Years of J2EE Web application experiences including Struts framework
Must have working experience in all of the following tools and technologies
Rational Application Developer (RAD) 7
Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), particularly Message Driven Beans (MDBs) and TimerBeans
Java Message Service (JMS)
MQ Series
The candidate should have worked with the majority of the following tools and technologies.
Merant Version Manager 8.0
IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.1
IBM HTTP Server (IHS) 6.1
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Ford HTeam deployment tool
Java Server Pages (JSP)
STRUTS Webframework
Java Database Connectivity (JDBC)
Application unit testing based on JUnit/ Cactus
Simple API for XML (SAX)
Web Services Interoperability (WS-I)
Extensible Markup Language (XML) / XML Schema Definition (XSD)
