Job Description
Collate and analyse requirements and prepare a detailed functional design adhering to the design guidelines and standards within the budgeted effort through working collaboratively with other internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Analyse and validate the product requirements / enhancements mentioned in the ‘Requirements Analysis’ document through interfacing with the Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts(SME), Service Owner(SO), Solutions architect and the end customer.
Identify the areas which are impacted by the requirement / enhancement as an outcome come-up with a detailed impact analysis document
Get the understanding vetted by the SME/ SO by creating wire-frames, use case diagram, high level object diagram, data flow diagram, mock-up screens etc.
Subsequently create a clear functional design document adhering to quality standards and guidelines, once done get the same signed off from the SME / SO.
Should actively participate in the peer review process.
Should ensure and perform SQA activities to adhere to iBLC standards.Advantage to Have:

Disseminate understanding of the business process and provide walkthrough on the functional design document to the DBT, which comprises representatives from Development, Blueprint, TAG, QA, Build and Packaging , Documentation and Beta Testing teams and ensure accurate understanding of requirements.
Get the design signed off from mandatory stakeholders. Support the development and QA teams for functional clarifications
Review Test Case and ensure that the they cover the all the required business processes and functionality described in designs.
After development, perform functional testing and ensure that the function design is properly translated into code.
Participate in pre-sales activities, presentations and demos to internal and external stakeholders as and when required.
Provide input to the documentation team for creating collateral such as user manuals, training guides.
