Job Description
Contribute your strong development skills, keen eye for detail and senior-level expertise to an innovative team responsible for the design, development and implementation of robust application products using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 2.0/3.x, JavaScript, AJAX, and MySQL/SQL Server technologies. This work requires experience in object-oriented programming and database design.
Ideal candidates can demonstrate their ability to take ownership and deliver high-quality technical design documentation and product enhancements on time, and to work with the product team to ensure success, using Agile and SCRUM software development life cycle methodologies. Additional responsibilities range from creating design documents and reviewing the work of others, to making modifications to the existing code base.
Our multi-cultural product team serves a worldwide customer base. This requires good communication skills to establish expectations, raise questions when required, make proper technical decisions, and ask for and provide guidance when necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
- ASP.NET and IIS; .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5 a must
- Strong Programming skills in C# as well as object oriented analysis, design and programming
- SQL, MySQL, SQL Server
- HTML
- XML technologies and web services; ASP.NET Web Services
- CSS
- AJAX (preferably MS Ajax Extensions and the AJAX toolkit)
- JavaScript
- SVN Source Control Management (Merging/Branching)
- Performance tuning at all levels of an application, from user interaction to database
- Experience in design patterns and structure for GUI applications such as MVC, threading models, delegation and events and exception handling
- Good communication skills
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 5 - 7 years (3+ in .NET; 5+ in object-oriented technologies)
Education:
- UG - B.Tech/B.E. - any specialization
- PG - MCA - Computers
- Preferable M.Tech, B.Tech, from a reputed institute
- MCSD/MCP/MCAD/MCTS/MCPD certification would be an advantage
