Job Description
Responsibilities include monitoring, supporting, and optimizing the Oracle applications environment as well as all associated interfaces and reporting.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate solid understanding of Oracle Applications development tools and methodologies, with the ability to understand, analyze, and solve problems.
Orchestrate alternative technology solutions for a business problem.
Recognize and promptly advise management of potential problems and or potential follow-on.
Desired Candidate Profile
As an Oracle Developer in our Corporate Information Technology Department, this role will be responsible for Daily production Support issues support Oracle EBS application and all external corporate applications.
Experience and Education:
BE/B.Tech- computer science / MCA, or equivalent required.
6+ years of experience utilizing a combination of Oracle development technologies such as PLSQL,SQL Plus, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OA Framework along e-Business Suite AOL familiarity.
Excellent knowledge in one or more of Oracle’s core modules (CRM , HRMS, SCM and Financials)
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware tools (XML Gateway, XML Publisher, BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Portal 10g)
Source control and version control for change management.
Extensive application support experience within the e-Business suite
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Problem solving skills and demonstrate strong working knowledge of using Oracle Metalink
Strong Verbal communication skills in the English language and ability to interact with business areas.
