Designation Lead - Performance Monitoring and Forecast
Job Description Responsibilities:
The candidate will be the key member of the performance center of excellence for the organization.
The candidate will be leading a team of performance data analysts and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining of the performance dashboard.
Candidate will be responsible to instrument all web products accurately.
The Candidate will have to monitor the performance dashboard on daily basis and track the actual performance against predefined SLA targets. Based on the actual performance of various products and the priorities, and will have to provide initial assessment report of the properties missing SLA.
The candidate will be managing a team of experts who will provide quarterly performance audit of various priority products in the organization. The audit will include study of front end,
backend, network and ad systems using predefined set of standards and will provide grading based on certain parameters. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and defining grading parameters.
The candidate will be tracking audit non-conformance issues and will raise bugs against the product teams to get them resolved and track them diligently.
The candidate will be responsible for measuring the success of the audit process for various properties and will provide reports based on that.
The Candidate will be responsible for improving the process that governs the audit.
The candidate will be having well versed knowledge in the product performance tuning of products based on LAMP technologies.
Based on the different product features and the underlying network and system infrastructure the candidate and his team will work on forecasting end user performance values of different properties and will track the actual performance against that. The team on the quarterly basis will provide performance forecasts of key properties.
The ideal candidate will be working in web product companies with focus on performance engineering having clear understanding of performance measurements.
The candidate should be able to lead the team by example and drive the data analysis.
The candidate should be well versed with various audit processes available in the software industry and should be able to contribute to the overall performance audit process.
Should be technically proficient to work with the engineers, understand their work and anticipate issues.
Desired Profile Requirements:
Experience 8-10 years
Education background B.E./B.Tech./MCA or equivalent
Minimum 6 years technical experience in the open source web technologies like Linux, Apache, Mysql and PHP.
At least 4 years experience in the software audits using various available tools.
Sound experience in the creation and governing of technical processes.
Expertise in representing data statistically.
