Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description
SQA Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing and running test cases for software products and projects of the company. An understanding of SQA procedures, practices and tools. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Desired Candidate Profile
• 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance and testing environment.
• Expert knowledge of Test/QA (Front-end & Backend).
• Ability to analyze use cases and create test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to implement black box as well as white box test cases.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles. Ability to work alongside development teams in various phases of development and define test cases.
• Expert knowledge of Mercury/QTP or any other Web Based testing tool like Selenium or watir.
• Expert knowledge of VBScript. Knowledge of other scripts like shell, Perl, Tcl/Tk desirable.
• Experience in supporting automation efforts within an Agile/iterative environment.
• Working knowledge of Load Runner (ability to write load runner scripts)
• Understands the Object Repository and the use of Reusable Actions.
• Working knowledge of bug tracking and reporting systems. Bugzilla, Jira.
• Expert knowledge of office tools for analysis, tabulation and presentation of results. Excel, Word, Ppt.
• Detail Oriented, Team Player
