Job Description iTech is a part of APAC Field Sales Consulting Organization. We enable the Pre-Sales Consulting organization by providing Technical Proof of Concepts, Pilots, Demos and Architecture support.
Support business development and transactional sales for Oracle Technology solutions by creating Proof of Concepts (POCs), re-usable demonstrations, scripts and presentations for use by PreSales and Field Sales team..
• Architect, design and deploy technology initiatives that;
• encourage Oracle Technology presales support in the sales cycle,
• empower the Pre Sales and Sales,
• assist management by driving business development
• provide for enhanced reporting.
• Design and develop prototypes and working demonstrations using Oracle technology to support sales opportunities and business development initiatives
• Design, build and deliver Sales Program materials such as training, eNewsletters, and technical iSeminar presentations and demonstrations.
Desired Profile
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. 8-10 years Total IT experience. 3-5 years relevant ETL and 3-5 years of relevant BI Experience. At least 2-3 End to End lifecycle of BI-DW projects. Strong knowledge in Data warehousing concepts is required. Expertise in OBIEE (previously called Siebel Analytics) and one of the following ETL tools (ODI/OWB) is a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications: BS degree or equivalent;
Skills :
Total 8-10 years Overall IT Experience.
3-5 Years in OBIEE
3-5 Years in OWB / ODI.
3-5 Years in Data warehousing.
5+ Years in SQL & PL/SQL.
Strong proficiency and understanding of database concepts and OS like UNIX/Linux/Solaris and Microsoft platforms.
Shell scripting knowledge skills are a plus.
